This fourth and final part of the Page House project was to use the house for fire department training purposes.

Since the cost of renovating the house was near impossible, the only option was to tear down the house, save some of the original items found in the house, and start new construction. By allowing the fire department to come in and use it, the house was burned down and cleared for the new construction.

This was a full 8 hr day of training, crews took turns fighting fire, rotating through different roles. At the end of the day, after training was over, the house was allowed to burn down, supervised and controlled, and adjacent structures and trees were monitored by the fire department.
